I have a Bachelor's degree in Education and Child Development and I absolutely adore children of all ages. I am a trained professional and I take pride in my knowledge and experience with young people. While I aspire to one day work in a public school setting, I hope to gain more experience with infants and toddlers to expand my knowledge of Early Child Development and Child Care. I have an 8-month-old son and I regularly care for my 4-month-old nephew. I have many (6+) years experience in a number of diverse elementary school settings, as well as one year's experience as a high school teacher's assistant. I have had extensive sensitivity training and experience with disadvantaged children, special needs children, English Language Learners (ELL) and English language literacy training. In addition, I have worked with children with developmental learning disabilities such as ADD/ADHD, ODD, and dyslexia.
