I am the second oldest from four siblings in my household, always took care of my younger sister and brother. My mom would sometimes be unable to assist school activities for them so I would replace her. This became a hobby that I soon learned to enjoy and would assist even if I wasn't asked to do so. My mom always said you must learn to follow before you can lead which means you must listen before you give orders, this applies to an everyday basis.

I have been taking care of other parents' children since I was 17, from senior year in high school to present. I enjoy being around children and children are fond of me as well. I am myself with them and encourage them to do the same, teaching them about self esteem and confidence. I am a very artistic and creative person, this enables me to always come up with a game or something to do for the kids. Children sometimes won't cooperate with you so it is imperative to teach them what they will gain in doing so instead of forcing or yelling at them. The kids that I've worked with would look up to me as a big sister, therefore would do my best to love and nurture them.
