Dear Parents: I am offering a "24/7" flexible schedule as a "full-service" nanny. I am offering to perform all tasks which parents themselves perform for the care of their children and their home. This eliminates undue worry about tasks a Nanny will perform. I can also provide special services for family's grandparents residing in the home with special needs and for family's dogs, cats, or small birds needing attention. Further, I can provide legal and administrative secretarial services for professional parents, both on or off-duty when the children are settled or at school. I am also willing to drive parents to and from work, saving parking fees and enabling them to make calls and do work in the car ahead of arriving at work. Also, I can drive the children to and from school. For those parents simply seeking sitting services, prior to obtaining a full-time nanny position, I am providing babysitting services and an "in-home" service for 1 child, if helpful to the parents. My personal data is : A woman, 64 years old, single, Caucasian, own a house/car in Ben Avon area, non-smoker, on no medications, am healthy, love the outdoors, exercise regularly, and am strong and agile. My experience in childcare developed early at age 9 as a Mother's Helper caring for 6 siblings, 5 of whom were younger and age 11 when the youngest was born. All siblings are 2 years apart in age. I performed such tasks as feeding infants and toddlers, preparing bottles, bathing and dressing, as well as food prep, laundry, and housekeeping. From age 16 to 25, I then babysat for 5 families after school and weekends for a total of 20 children, including infants and twins. From age 25 to 35, I babysat on weekends for 7 of 14 nephews/nieces, including 4 overnights with 4 children from infant to preschoolers. I also was a kindergarten teacher and nursery supervisor at my church. My care for seniors occurred from age 35 to 50, as my father's companion and primary caregiver, for his special needs as a stroke victim until 1999, when he passed away. Lastly, my family background is professional - father, a civil engineer, mother, a corporate secretary and my 6 siblings are all professionals. I am retired as a legal secretary for 27 years and an executive/administrative assistant for 15 years.
