I have experience caring for children of all ages and nationalities. I recently moved back after a 7 years living in England. I completed a four year program studying the English Language, Spanish, and Psychology. I absolutely loved it! In addition to my studies I also had the opportunity to work part-time from October 2011 to January 2012 as a Tutor. Here were some of my main responsibilities: * Teaching and mentoring children who attend our centers; * Monitoring their academic and social progress and help provide feedback for their parents.
* I worked closely with the center managers to ensure that
the curriculum is tailored correctly for each child. This included observing a 'zone' of six children, aged 4-17. At the center we tutored a variety of children with different learning difficulties and backgrounds. I was able to adapt and help meet the needs of each child in my zone by creating a fun and active environment to work in. In addition, I worked as an assistant in a Church youth club from the age of 17-18. Here I helped to organize fun, safe activities on a weekly basis throughout the year.
