I am a former Certified Preschool Teacher and a single mother of two (an 19-year-old boy who only visits occasionally and an 11-year-old girl). I've run a before-and-after-school care service for a few years now. I even ran my very own summer camp for preteens complete with field trips, weekly themes and daily activities. I have always been a volunteer parent at my kid's schools. I will provide transportation and care for children (ages 5 and up) attending Brooklyn schools, nearby Parma schools and nearby Cleveland schools. You will always be able to get in touch with me (unless, of course, I'm in the process of driving). My home is on the "smaller side" and has no basement but the kids will have access to my daughter's bedroom (most of the time), the kitchen, living room, the spare bedroom and the yard (which provides a pretty large amount of playing space). I have an "arts and crafts" tote, board games, a Wii video system, some outdoor toys, etc. An after school snack and drink are provided daily. If your child likes to eat something specific, they can bring their own from home. Finally, I try to be as professional as I can and I hope that you'll call me soon for an interview.
