All my life I have worked with and enjoyed children; being the oldest of three and raised on a family farm with lots of pets I learned responsibility at a very early age. I have been a volunteer 4-H leader for the youngest groups of kids (Cloverbuds) often teaching and mentoring the youth for the past 9 years. I enjoy cooking and spending time with the kids by making homework fun, I am a crafty person and like spending time outside. I have a small garden and enjoy sharing my experiences with others. During my summers home from college I spent working with youth of all ages at a 4-H summer camp; I have spent time working with students in inner city schools as a teaching assistant/teaching fellowship the year after I graduated from college.
