My childcare experience began with a home daycare business and continued on with a substitute teaching position. I have been working with Chesterfield County Public Schools for the past 10 years. My preference has always been for early childhood and kindergarten age groups. I have worked as a supplemental tutor and as an after school programs instructor for K-5th grade levels. Working with children is my passion and has been throughout my adult years; while attending college I worked as a nanny caring for an 11-year-old. During the few years of running a home daycare business, I worked with ages 0-4 years. I have a bachelor degree and have passed all the state based teacher exams required for certification.
