Currently I'm working for a doctor caring for a little girl and boy. I arrive at 6 p.m.-8:30 a.m. Our routine includes: dinner, help with homework for the little boy, play time, reading, baths, brush teeth, ready for bed, after they are in bed I clean up the kitchen, wake them up in the morning, dress, breakfast, brush teeth, comb hair, then it's free time until the Dr. comes home or it's time to take the little boy to school and the little girl to daycare. The children are a delight to be with and watch over. We always have fun with play or learning things. Unfortunately, the job will be over soon. I would very much like to find another family to help out and enjoy their children as much as I have the current and past families.
I love to bake cookies with children, do art projects and outdoor activities. I've enjoyed helping with my grandchildren. We've baked cookies together, made beautiful art work and even made some great forts, lots of great memories. Now they are teenagers and they have a busy life.
I've taken care of newborns all the way up to teenagers. I have 12 nieces and nephews I've taken care of throughout their lives so I have plenty of experience with all ages.
I started caring for a 5-month-old and cared for her for the next 5 years. After 1 1/2 yrs the mom had to go to Washington DC for special nurses training for 5 months; she left her little girl with me in her absence. Her and her husband had another baby and I had the privilege of caring for the new baby as well. I fed, bathed, dressed, put down for naps, trips to the park, read and played with them and enjoyed every minute with them. Unfortunately, they moved out of the area after 5 years.
