Hi! I am interested in becoming a part-time or possibly a morning nanny for your family. I am a former stay-at-home mom to a son and daughter who are now young adults. I have also spent 3 1/2 years as a Teacher Assistant in the local school system, primarily working with kindergarten and first grades and other grades as needed. As an "Empty Nester", I also babysit for friends.
While at home with my children, I also filled in at my children's preschool and child watch at our local gym. Some of the things I enjoy doing include reading/story time, board games, creative play with toys or making our own, outdoor activities and sports. I believe in getting the kids involved and exposing them to different interests. Over the years we were involved at various times in scouting, softball, basketball, soccer, gymnastics and cheer-leading. I have been involved in a program for girls as both a parent and coach while in the school system.

I have been certified in First Aid and Pediatric CPR while with the school system. I also have a current membership with the YMCA.
