A brief description about my child care history:

I graduated high school back in June of 2008 and became a full-time nanny looking after a 2-year-old boy. After the summer job was completed, I put some time in at a day care working with toddlers. Later, I worked at a maternity store, selling clothes. I missed nannying so much. I returned and to take care of a then 5-month-old little boy in the morning hours then went to another families house and took care of a 5-year-old girl in the afternoon/evening hours. I did back-up care for a bit but found it wasn't for me so I am in search of a one time family again.

I am different then most nannies because I have 4 years of nanny experience under my belt, plus 10+ years of babysitting children. Over the years, I have worked with kids as young as 3 months. Some of my specialties are potty training, speech impaired, sign language, behavior, etc. My philosophy on raising kids is the Montessori approach. I am very hands on and and love to interactive with them. I also have experience with light housekeeping as I nanny (cleaning kitchen, laundry, cleaning playroom, picking up room). I have traveled with one family and I have also done overnight babysitting/nannying as well.

I'm looking to start January 2013 with a full-time position, something at least with 40 hours a week with benefits as well (negotiable). I am looking for something long term. I can't wait to bring my nanny services to your family and home!
