I am a professional nanny and home manager of over 17 years, living in Madison Park. Over the past four years, I have been employed by a group of families in the Mt. Baker area of Seattle under simultaneous contracts. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I am also a licensed massage practitioner with 10 years of clinical experience in the Pacific Northwest. After running a business for many years, I've recently made the decision to condense my career in massage therapy and return to full-time employment as a nanny. I am highly trained and excel in music and creative arts, emotional intelligence, gentle redirection, and positive discipline. I read and write limited German and Swedish, as well as speak some casual Spanish. I am excellent with pets, am fastidiously organized and skilled at time management, structured when necessary, have also performed as an adjunct office and personal assistant. I am also a wonderful cook of healthy, whole organic foods. I love and enjoy children and have worked with those who have had ADD, special needs, deafness, disabilities at varying age levels from newborn to 18 years. I am very patient, intuitive, confident, supportive and nurturing. I employ a compassionate, firm and fair approach to childcare. I encourage outdoor activities in all weather circumstances.
