I graduated from Northwestern College in 2007 with a degree in Psychology. During my college years I worked at a before and after school program where I met and assisted a child with autism. Working with this child was very challenging but SO rewarding. It was never my "plan" to work with autism, but after meeting children and their families with autism I discovered that I just simply love it. I am currently a Behavioral Therapist for children who have autism, but I am very much open to working with any child. I also have experience as a Lead Infant Teacher, Teacher's Assistant, and Substitute Teacher (infant to pre-k).
*On a side note* My father has a disability that requires in-home care. I can understand and relate to how hard/frustrating/tiresome it can be to find really reliable in-home care. That is why I make sure to be honest, timely, and reliable myself.
