Work as a drug and alcohol counselor. Assist clients with detoxification needs, sufficient reporting, refer clients to appropriate resources. Intakes and discharges are main daily objectives.

Teacher's Assistant
Work as a teacher's assistant with main focus on behavior modification. Assisted with classroom academics, physical education, outings, consequences and behavioral plans.

Counselor/Mentor
Work in a residential treatment facility as a counselor for at-risk youth. Counsel youth on group and individual levels on substance abuse, family, social, or daily living problems and pressures. Log, DAP and record daily activities, behavior or mental health issues. Transport to 12 Step meetings, recreational outings, court appointments, medical appointments, etc.
