I have extensive child care experience, having started babysitting when I was 11-years-old for various neighbors. From the age of 14-years-old, I was a mother's helper for three summers. I currently sit in the evenings for a few special clients, and am looking for a full-time, daytime nanny position.

I have experience with children of every age from 2-months-old to 12-years-old, and have sat with as many as three children at a time. I am comfortable changing diapers, preparing children's snacks and meals, doing their laundry, light housekeeping, school/preschool pick-up and drop-off. Among my favorite things to do with children is to read aloud. I find that all kids love this, and their lives are so full of computers these days that it is something I really like to include in our time together. I don't think there can ever be too much reading with kids!

I also like to do art projects. Some may call me old fashioned, but I think that all children still enjoy the simple, creative fun of anything from stringing macaroni necklaces to drawing dinosaurs and flowers. I'm okay with pets of any variety.
