If I could give her a 10 I would. You will not be disappointed. She worked for us for the last year and a half. We have taken her with us on family vacations and considered her a member of our family. If we could, we would take her with us. (Don't think we didn't try). She is calm, understanding, gentle, but firm. We have 4 kiddos under the age of 9. She handled them beautifully. We were afraid at first that her quiet demeanor would get pushed around by our boys, but let me tell you- they knew who was boss and it was her. She followed our rules, knew our discipline methods and fully supported them. She did homework, played games, drew, colored and painted with all of them. (notice there is minimal TV in there!!) She did arts and crafts, and even let them all play with her hair. The girls loved her and loved it when she did their hair! (So did I.) She was always on time, more than reliable and always available. Two emergencies that arose she didn't blink an eye and stepped right in to help us. She was great at making meals, snacks and yes, even movie nights. She did take them occasionally to activities if we needed without any objection. She took the boys to their bus stop and our daughter to her preschool and picked her up. There are 52 kids on our street (yes a lot I know) and there are 4 other mothers who would swear to all of this. Many wished they weren't stay at home moms so they could hire her. We are rather obsessive, and trust us, she is totally AMAZING. Do not miss out on her- I promise your children will love her. Call us if you have any questions--we only wish we could bring her with us.
