This is where I was shown how to use an Epi-pen as the oldest child had peanut and egg allergies. For a second family I was caring for 2 children ages 1 - 3 and supervising 3 teenagers. Over the past 10+ years I have provided childcare for several families. For one family I cared for 3 children, ages 6 months to 8 years old. This is where I was shown how to use an Epi-pen as the oldest child had peanut and egg allergies. For a second family I was caring for 2 children ages 1 - 3 and supervising 3 teenagers. I was responsible for maintaining their schedule and also creating age appropriate activities. We would go to the museums, libraries, sporting events, etc. I would meet with the parents regularly to discuss upcoming plans and any disciplinary problems that might arise. I would prepare meals and manage snacks. I also did light cleaning. In addition to being a nanny I was also a caretaker for an elderly lady.I provided a nurturing environment and assisted in walking and light exercise. I assisted in dressing and grooming. I did the laundry. I accompanied her to appointments. I engaged in activities and memory games and was a companion. In all my positions I provided a safe and loving environment for those in my care. I can guarantee I will continue to provide the same atmosphere for those I watch.
