My experience with children began with working at the YMCA after-school program in September 2007 and continued until August of 2009. While working there, I worked with children between the ages of 4-11-years-old. During my senior year of high school I interned at an early childhood school with children between the ages of 3-5 years old. Through working at the YMCA, I met a family with one son at the time and began babysitting for them regularly. Within the next 2 years the family had a daughter, and at that time I watched their children as needed. I am still in contact and babysit for them when I am home from Wheelock College.

I currently am entering my senior year at Wheelock College and am majoring in Early Childhood Education. While attending Wheelock, I participated in a preschool program for two years. This was working in a preschool classroom with children between the ages of 3-5-years-old and helping them mainly with literacy. I am currently looking to continue my work with children.
