Most of my full time nanny jobs have been for infants and babies, so it is safe to say working with babies is my specialty. I have worked with multiples twice. I have been a full time nanny for the past 6 years (not including 3 summers of nanny experience prior to that). I originally took a nanny job as something temporary, but ended up falling in love with the family and from there, decided to change my career. I went from working as an esthetician (skin care therapist) to being a full time nanny.

I stay very close with the families I have cared for, because the children are more than a job to me. They are an important part of my life. I love the bonds I have formed with the children I nanny for and this is why I prefer to nanny, rather than work in a daycare.

I have been known for my knowledge of infants among family and friends and I get calls from friends who are new moms asking me for advice!

In between nanny jobs, I have worked in a few daycare centers, but have found that with each center, there are a different number of things I disagree with, mainly, the focus being put less on the needs of the child and more on making the facility run smoothly.

I am hoping to find a family that would like a long term nanny, a year or more, because I cherish becoming a part of not only the child's life, but a part of the family.
