I have worked with children in several capacities. I worked with underprivileged school aged children as a Group Leader. I worked with children from 6 weeks old to three years at a Montessori based school as a Teacher's Assistant. I have been an important person in my best friend's 10 year old daughter's life who I have babysat for 10 years and worked with on home schooling activities. I helped raise my three younger siblings, and am involved in the lives of my two young nieces. I have also worked with homeless children at three separate homeless shelters where I did volunteer work and worked in child welfare in the state of Iowa.
