I love the fresh energy of children, especially boys because they are always so adventurous, boisterous, and fun to be around. I had my first part-time babysitting job in junior high and have watched many of my friends and family members children ever since. I do so well with them because I believe that I'm the perfect mix of being a big, playful kid myself and being a calm, cool-headed, compassionate adult. My style of childcare is that of gentle guidance and companionship. I believe that it's very important to allow the child to be able to explore his or her world and everything in it without being too overbearing. I believe that positive, supportive, encouraging language is very effective and should always be used. I understand that children are just like delicate little seeds; whatever you put in them will grow and grow.

My ideal day would include fun activities including strolls around the neighborhood, playing in parks and the outdoors, building, painting, and creating with down time reading stories and hanging out.

**As of right now I have a part time job and am a nanny part-time for a beautiful, spunky 2-year-old girl, but I'm still interested in finding a family that needs childcare one day a week, either on Tuesday or Wednesday.
