I received my Bachelor of Arts and Education in December 2012. I am a certified teacher for grades K-5. I spent my Fall 2012 semester in a 5th grade classroom. I have spent the remainder of the school year as a full time K-1 instructor.

I have been a summer nanny (M-F, 7 a.m. -6 p.m.) and regular babysitter for many years. In the summer of 2009, I was the nanny for two girls (2 and 4). One child was receiving treatment for leukemia. This position included finding fun activities to do around the house (crafts, games, etc.). I was also responsible for assisting at home medical care workers when needed. In the summers of 2010 and 2011, I was the nanny for a boy (8-9) who had ADHD and learning disabilities. Activities included going to the Children's Museum, Zoo, YMCA, neighborhood pool, etc. I also provided transportation to appointments, tutoring, and lessons. Learning was incorporated every day in a fun, new way so the children remained engaged.

I believe that each and every child is an exceptional individual who needs a secure, loving, and inspiring environment to live in. I am very energetic and outgoing. I love working with children and being able to see their shining faces every day!
