My name is Hilda and I am studying biology at North Seattle Community College. I plan to transfer to the University of Washington in a year or two and ultimately go into research. I have worked with kids for about four years now. One of the reasons I work with kids, as opposed to finding an alternative part-time job arrangement, is because kids are goofy, fun and imaginative people who always seem to put a smile on my face. For the most part, I've worked with kids ranging from a few months old to about 8 years in age. I have lots experience working with toddlers and not quite as much experience with newborns (albeit some). I've worked as a full-time nanny for a 5-year-old child and as a mother's assistant for two brothers - one 4 years old and the other just 3 months old. On top of that, I've worked as a regular babysitter for numerous families with children spanning from 1-year-old to 8 years old.

Some random facts about me are: I love animals, especially cats.
I prefer to get outside and do things rather than hang out in the house.
I love science fiction.
I tend to spend my spare time reading or playing board games.
My favorite place to go, rain or shine, is the zoo.
