I have a huge passion towards working with children. In high school I babysat frequently. In addition, I worked as a nanny for a 7-year-old boy every day from 9-5 during the summers for 4 years. I was responsible for providing him with meals, taking him around town to different activities, providing educational activities, helping him with summer work for school, and doing light housework. He also had 1-year-old twin brothers who I occasionally took care of as well. I have also been a substitute at the Child Care Development Center in Boone. Also, I have had occasional babysitting jobs in Boone and in the surrounding areas. I am a senior majoring in Communication Disorders and plan to be a speech therapist specializing in pediatrics. I love observing and providing care for children and I would love to be able to work with them more often.
