I've taught 1st grade for the past 5 years in a wonderful school working with many amazing families. Each year, those kids became my kids. The past 8 years at my church, I've enjoyed serving in Sunday school where I've worked with the little ones; 2's, 3's and 4's. The past 4 summers, I've also taught K-5 VBS at my church. In both capacities, I helped enrich the curriculum by tailoring it to be more hands on and fun. I LOVE themes and the holidays, and thrive on coming up with crafts and hands on projects to go along with them. I've nannied several summers for a family with two middle-schoolers and one high-schooler while the parents traveled to NY for business. I loved cooking for them and getting to know them and their friends driving from activity to activity; practice, the movies, the beach and games. I nannied for a 4-year-old. I loved packing a lunch and taking it to the park and pool, going for walks, and stimulating him with learning games. Working with children is my heart. It comes very natural to me and where I feel gifted. I would love to find a family that is the right fit! I charge $20/hour for 5 hours or less and $15/hour for 6 hours or more. M-F. Some weeknds.
