My child care philosophy: My goal is to provide a safe and happy place for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem is also a major goal. Children will be taught to respect each other, adults and property. My background in child care and child involvement, includes: registered day care provider in Keller, Texas, registered day care provider in Republic, Missouri, 11/26/01 through 6/3/05. Licensed day care provider in Lincoln, Nebraska 11/10/98 through 2/2/01. I am certified in infant and child CPR and First Aid. I have frequent state inspections by local licensing office. I am a member of the State of Texas Food Program which has frequent food inspections. Everyone is my home has criminal background checks. I am actively involved in local Family Child Care Association. I am actively involved in Texas Association for Family Child Care. I am constantly updating training in child development.
