After months searching for a caregiver/nanny for our 9 month old baby boy, we finally found Heidi and what a gift she has been in our lives. Heidi has been caring for our son since he was about 4 months old and has helped him (and us as new parents) in so many ways. She not only helps him develop his language/communication skills and ability to socialize with others within a super fun environment, but she does this through a genuine love and kindness that is so wonderful to have for your child. She also takes extra care in his nutrition and helping us maintain a schedule that has been invaluable. Heidi is an expert with children and provides an enriched environment for our son that is irreplaceable.

I'm a mother of 3 wonderful children. Their ages are 7, 5 and 14 months. When it came time to hire someone to care for my kids, it was REALLY important for me to find the best of the best. To make a long story short, I have always been in the business of kids. I took care of children as a child myself, worked in a daycare, taken child development courses etc... In those 10 years, I saw horrible things, experienced a horrible thing first hand with my own child! I resorted to working from home and only using one family member for care. When that ended, I needed someone loving, caring, intuitive, experienced, trust-worthy and knowledgeable in child development. If you've been looking for the same, you know that's almost impossible to come by. That's when I came across Care.com and found Heidi. Her profile doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of how uniquely amazing this woman is. To list everything would take a novel! Heidi started caring for my children about 4 months ago. I liked her immediately but was still hesitant because of my past experience. The first time I hired her for care, I had no idea what to expect. I had such anxiety, honestly! Shortly after my departure, Heidi sent a picture text message just to ease my mind. She had played games with the older children, put on a magic show, fed them a healthy snack, bathed and massaged my infant son, got all 3 kids to sleep, cleaned my kitchen and had candles lit. All in about 2.5-3 hours! And as she was leaving, I thanked her for her time and she responded, "Thank YOU for the opportunity to care for your wonderful children". That melted my heart and I became speechless. That's the moment I knew she was the ONE! Heidi is the kind of person that listens with her heart. To say that she cares for children doesn't begin to describe how much she truly LOVES kids. It's like she can see right into their souls and know exactly what they're thinking, feeling or what they need. She is very educated in many areas. She teaches a parenting class, is a retired chiropractor, volunteers at a school and has been a Foster Mom to hundreds of children (some very medically fragile). She is an amazing mother, a nutritionist, funny, intelligent, a great story teller, has a flexible schedule, will accommodate you the best she can, is always on time, a happy, loving soul and sooooo much more!! She will not put your child down to even use the restroom if your child is upset or doesn't feel safe! I know that when my precious children are with Heidi, they are safe, loved, happy, healthy, educated and active. She will respect and follow your wishes, is very clean and detailed oriented......JUST PERFECT. And that's HUGE coming from a parent like myself. I try to provide only the best for my kids and now I can rest assured that I have found someone that I can trust 100%. Heidi is a true inspiration to me, she inspires me to be a better person, mom, wife and friend. I'm so happy that the universe has put us together! In my opinion, there's no one better. Search no further because it would be a mistake for you to not hire this amazing human being.

Heidi is currently caring for our 8-month old baby girl, and started caring for her when she was 4-mos old. This is our first baby so we were spent a lot of time searching for a caregiver. What we were seeking was someone that had the experience and knowledge, not only to care for a child, but also to assist in their developmental growth. It's not easy to turn your baby over to someone you barely know so we did a lot of research, interviewing, and follow-up with references and background checks. We felt that Heidi stood out among all of the people we considered, and our experience with her over the last 4 mos has only confirmed that. We've been impressed not only by Heidi's experience and wealth of knowledge, but also by her natural ability to be intuitive and in-tune with our baby's needs. Heidi has a unique ability to read a child s needs quickly. At our baby s age, it s not always easy to know why the baby is crying or what is causing a certain behavior. But Heidi has such a connection with children that she generally knows in an instant what needs to be done. She has helped us in every aspect of caring for our daughter. We feel totally confident that she s getting the best possible care. Heidi has also helped us as first-time parents in adapting to the challenges and changes we face with each stage of our baby's development. Heidi has been very respectful of our decisions as parents. Our preferences are always supported so we know that our interactions with our baby and Heidi s are consistent. Communication has always been excellent. We always know how our baby s day went, and if there are any issues or concerns. Heidi is extremely flexible, and will do whatever is best for the child. She has helped us in more ways than we would have ever expected. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have found Heidi, and it s a great feeling to be able to leave your child with someone you can completely trust. Most importantly, we know our baby is happy, safe, and secure with Heidi, and it is evident that our baby has had a great day in her care.
