I currently care for children ages 6 weeks and up, in my home. I started out in 2006 with only one child as a babysitting job for a family friend while I was pregnant with my son, as an extra income. I then took on three other children in 2007, and have been providing care for them ever since. I have multiple parent references and referrals.
I teach the children to be respectful and polite, and through various activities, I prepare each child with the basics to enter preschool. I maintain structure and consistency for the children and myself. I have learned that every child is different and sometimes the way in which situations should be handled varies based on each child and their differences. I have extensive knowledge of children and can easily identify their different moods and personalities. I have patience and empathy for each child's needs and concerns. I am a very compassionate and caring childcare sitter.
