I feel that I have been a teacher for most of my life. I have always had something to teach someone else, whether it's a friend or a child. Teaching has been a wonderful experience for me. I have a Master 's Degree in Education and I have taught kindergarten, first and fourth grade, and English in grades 6-11. Before being a teacher, I was a babysitter and nanny for several years for children ages infant-teenager. I have also babysit my best friend 's boys once or twice a month for the past six years, they are ages 6, 4, 3, and 1.
As a teacher, I am also a learner. I am always looking for new things to learn, knowledge that I can pass down to the children in my care. I also believe in having high expectations for children, so that they may reach their fullest potential. I can hardly wait to see what new things I will learn from children and what great things they will accomplish! I can't wait to meet new people who will have much to share with me, as I will with them.
