I have planned to work with children my whole life, babysitting and helping in the church nursery as soon as I was old enough. My first jobs were teaching children to swim and ski.

Since then I have obtained my professional ski instructor accreditation and am proud to have moved to a children's ski school, rated one of the highest in guest satisfaction in the country. There I worked with children from ages 3 to 16 years in groups of 1 to 14 children at a time.

I was also fortunate enough to work at a camp for three summers, getting to know the children, teaching subjects including archery and environmental science, and making sure everyone had a memorable experience. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and am working on my Master's in Linguistically Diverse Education at the same university.

While obtaining my degree, I taught in a number of different schools. I worked with children at different stages of development, learning styles, and emotional needs, but what I am most proud of was connecting with and get to know each student on an individual level.

Recently, I have had more experience with very young children, my friends are starting to have children of their own so I get to see and babysit them as they grow through their first few years. It is so much fun watching them learn to experience the world!
