Hi! I have been working with children since before I can remember. The eldest of four siblings by about 10 years, I was the go-to baby sister. In high school I helped teach Sunday school, taught children how to swim at the local pool and volunteered at various sports programs.

While studying psychology at Cal Poly, I began working for the local school district as a special education aide. As an Aide III, I worked one-on-one with children in the Autism spectrum. Because my specialty was social skills and speech, I became a full inclusion aide as well as a "home-therapy" aide.

Throughout my five years at the district I became close with many of the families, and often babysat for past students or students in other classrooms. I also tutored for two families throughout that time.

I have always believed that to work with kids you must be positive, fun, and energetic, but most importantly you must be consistent. My expectations are very clear, my goals are high, yet always achievable.
