I attended Southwestern community college. My focus of study started out in art, and ended in Early Childhood education. Which I now hold an AS degree with an emphasis in ECE. I am currently working as a substitute instructional assistant for ESD. So Monday through Friday I am on call to work in the special needs classrooms in all the public schools in our area. Leaving me available for after school hours and weekends. I have documentation proving I have had my fingerprints &background check for the state of Oregon. Allowing me to work in any preschool or public school in our state. I would be happy to provide these documents. I would eventually like to be a preschool teacher. I have done my preschool teaching internship at the Family Center preschools located on Newmark Ave. in Coos Bay. I believe a quality child care provider should have an endless devotion to every child in their care. They need to be patient, nurturing, creative, consistent, and in-tune to each child's kind of individual needs. I present these qualities, and hold them to a high standard. Children in my care will be set to a daily schedule of physical and educational activities, meals, responsibilities, and possible outings. All schedules will always preapproved by the parents. When children are in my care I will see to it all homework is finished. I can tutor grade school age children in areas as needed. I am trained in teaching preschool age children the skills needed to enter kindergarten. I am looking for a child care position with typically developing or special needs children.
