I grew up in a family of eight children and have always loved being around children. Through my school years I babysat for neighbors and family friends. I also was a teachers aid in the Elementary Special Education class. My focus in college was also Special Education. I was a certified nurses aid and worked in homes with autistic children. I married and have five children of my own with ages ranging from 15 to 3 years old. On and off through the years I have provided child care in my home. At one point I had a licensed day care but found I liked providing for less families at a time and didn't renew the license.
