I babysat all through my teens years for mostly young children ages 7 to 9 and have experience caring for an infant as young as 6 months old, which I cared for a few times. I stayed with the older children's families for several years until they were old enough to care for themselves and then by that time I had entered my second semester of college and focused on my education. Recently, here and there I have been called on to sit for a family up the road from our home who have a 6 and 7-year-old girls but they have since moved away. My boyfriend also has a 10 year son that I have cared for when my boyfriend is at work and such. I have myself three younger sisters that I have grown up with, plus my younger sister has cerebral palsy and mental retardation, so I have experience with handicapped individuals as well. I live in Portville and can catch a bus to Olean at 9:15 and I can catch the last bus at 5:30 for we have no vehicle.
