For the past eight years, and even before; when I read the entire Babysitter's Club series (as lame as that sounds) and dreamed of the day someone would finally consider me old enough to be their babysitter, caring for children, especially toddlers, has been of paramount importance to me.

The families I work with would describe me as consistently fun and creative. All whom I sit for, including the toddlers who are still working through their separation anxiety, are visibly excited when they get to spend a day
with me. Their parents consider me extremely dependable and responsible. I have a 100% clean background, no tickets or car accidents to speak of, not a drug user, and I have outstanding references. Plus I'm fun! I am a wonderful, healthy cook and have no problem preparing meals, or taking the weight off parents in any way possible. When kids go down for naps, I use that time to help out with chores like doing some dishes or picking up around the house.

I am a big advocate of *open minded* principles for wonderful childhood experiences, because I was lucky enough to attend, and then much later work for, a wonderful preschool in Charlotte that taught me all about creative
problem solving, kindness, and patience as we learn. I love to color, make paper bag puppets and picture books, go on imaginary outside jungle expeditions or read from my library of awesome vintage children's books that I passionately collect.

I am certain that we could work out a wonderful and lasting alliance!
