I am almost 20 years old and just completed my sophomore year as a Biology/Nursing major at Bryan College. I grew up home schooled with three younger siblings who I began babysitting and general care for at a very young age (including when my youngest sister was still in diapers). I have regularly cared for children ages infant-3 years through my church's nursery. Also, I have given child care at my local women's shelter for kids of all ages. Throughout my teen years I babysat a variety of families to earn a little spending money. I have been a nanny for a family with three kids who weekly have up to three other friends over who I am also responsible for supervising. Over my Christmas break (6 weeks.), I nanny for a family with two kids and also tutored the older child in all her school subjects (fifth grade). I also babysat for a family with three little girls, the youngest being just a year old. All these collective jobs have involved me preparing/feeding food, putting down for bedtimes/naps, some light housecleaning, driving to activities, etc., changing diapers, taking to the pool/lake, caring for family pets, and tutoring for school. Currently, I am working part-time in a pediatrician's office so I have gained years of experience in working with kids there.
