My most recent babysitting job included watching a 5-year-old girl and her younger brother who is 2 years old. I have been this family's babysitter for about three years. The parents mostly need me on weekends, giving them free time to go out. I sometimes prepare a simple dinner. I have also served as a nanny for two and a half year old twins.
Over the course of one month in the summer, I was a nanny for two and a half year old twins- one boy and one girl. While the family visited from California for the month, I provided an extra pair of hands and eyes for the mother. Some of my duties included preparing the children for outings such as the beach, entertaining them, preparing them for bed, and distributing healthy snacks, and simple meals. I would sometimes stay overnight in order to wake up with the children and get them ready for the day so the mother could have time to herself.
