Growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina, I have been involved in childcare for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a very large extended family including many younger cousins. My mother also looked after children during my adolescent years. I began babysitting when I was about 12 and haven't stopped since! I spent four consecutive summers and my first two college years as a live-in nanny in Westchester County, New York (June 2005-May 2009), while I was receiving my business degree from FIT in Manhattan. In 2009, I transferred to UNC Wilmington and graduated in May of 2012 with degrees in Psychology and Journalism. Seeing as how children have always been a part of my life and focus, I cannot think of a job that is a better fit for my passion and experience!
