Haley was a great sitter and did well with both our 7 month old and 5 year old, so we were very surprised when one day she didn't show up for work. She didn't respond to multiple texts and a phone message. I'm not sure what happened. Fortunately, we were able to take the baby with us that day. If my husband and I had needed to be at work, we would have really been in a bind.

I'm sorry this happened. I strive to be very punctual as well as a loving and compassionate nanny.

The arrangement we had was as-needed and somewhat sporadic. We weren't clear that I was supposed to work that week. And then I waited for the parent's call.

I never received word that I was supposed to work that day/week, so I went hiking up at the mountain and was out of cell phone range when the parent... More
