I attend Baker college and am 2 quarters into the nursing program, and I am CPR certified. I have been babysitting since I was 14. It wasn't until last year when I moved here from Traverse City, that I started to nanny on a regular schedule for a family in North Muskegon. My responsibilities included picking up the lovely 3-year-old girl from preschool, bringing her home, making lunch, cleaning up, putting her down for an afternoon nap, and then some light housework until she wakes up. My favorite part of the job is keeping her entertained! We play outside on sunny days, and dress up or bake cookies inside on cold days. I think there is a big difference between babysitters and nannies. I don't sit on the couch and watch movies with your kids all day. I am their playmate, and I am your helper around the house. I clean up our messes, and keep things tidy. I can accept additional cleaning responsibilities as well. I have nannied for a 6-month-old boy and a 4-month-old girl too. I am very comfortable with infants and children, and am good at making your kids feel comfortable and have a fun time with me.
