Hi, my name is Gretje, and I am a 29-year-old German who has lived in the US for the past nine years. I currently live in Nob Hill and work full time as a web graphic designer for APS.
In my early college years, I worked as a nanny full-time and loved it. Eventually I started working at a publishing company as a multimedia artist so I haven't had a nanny job in over five years. In my current situation, however, I am looking for additional income and so am interested in babysitting opportunities. I'm available late afternoons and evenings during the week as well as weekends.

My longest nanny job lasted just over a year and I cared for a 2, 4, and 7-year-old during that time. I also have experience with 6-month-old twins and their 3 and 4 year-old brothers, so I can multitask. ;-)
The youngest child in my care was the 10 day old son of an old co-worker. It was nerve wracking for all of us, but we all survived.

Working as a horseback riding instructor at a summer camp allowed me to work with older children (ages 7 and up). In recent years my childcare experience has centered more around family and friends who needed a night out and let me have the responsibility of child care for the night.
