I have worked with children even as a young teenager. I started by helping out at the nursery at church and Vacation Bible Schools. In my later teens, church members began to ask me to babysit for them. I went to college and graduated with a bachelor of arts in child development & psychology. I have more than 60 hours of fieldwork working with school-aged children in school settings. I spent summer 2010 working at an orphanage in the Philippines caring for the children there and making sure their needs were met. Since graduating in May 2011, I have become a full-time nanny to 2 children (a 3-year-old and a 5-month-old). I love my job! It is perfect for me! But I am looking to make some extra cash on the side.
