I have been a nanny to a family with three teenage children for the past six months. My duties included picking them up from school and driving each to various extracurricular lessons. I did assist with snacks and food prepaeration. Prior to this job, I worked for a family with a toddler and an infant for the two years. Both families are happy to speak with you about my qualifications as a dependable and resourceful childcare provider. I have a culinary and graphic design background, enjoy walks and exercise and reading with your child. I have a flawless driving record (I have a car that accommodates child seats), and am a trained chef if grocery, shopping and/or in-house cooking is desired. As a mother to a grown daughter, I understand the importance of making your priorities my priorities.

You'll note that I am particularly patient with children, a skill enhanced because of my voice disorder (the same as NPR radio host Diane R.) which children and many adults would not distinguish as such. I've found it poses no physical or emotional barriers in a successful, nurturing relationship.

My schedule is flexible to yours, seven days a week. Personal and professional references are available, and I am amenable to a background check and very willing to participate in any safety classes you request.
