As an adult, it is my job to offer possibilities, experiences, boundaries, and wisdom. What we learn from each other is caring and compassion. Through interactions, we all shape ourselves. This takes a great deal of patience. Patience is one of my greatest gifts. Taking the time to understand lets the child feel a part of the moment. I have worked in homes, after school programs, camps, pools, mentor programs, foster programs and classrooms. All of these experiences have taught me something different and new. In total, I probably have at least 10 years of experience in caring for children from ages 1-14. My biography may seem overqualified for babysitting, however child care is my part-time job and a way to supplement my classroom experience and income. I hope that you see the experience and knowledge I can offer your family and know that they are well taken care of.
