My childcare experience began as a teen caring for two schooled age children, services were rendered in the child's home in which I helped with homework and school projects prepared lunch and dinner. Over the years I gained more experience in my early twenties providing care for children ages three months to school age from my home through HRA and ACD. I potty trained served meals, played games, helped with homework and taught basic educational curriculum to preschool children. In order to diversify my childcare experience I took a position at a family child in home daycare as a teacher's assistant. Some of the experience I gained from this kind of childcare setting was how to handle a large group of children with different personalities learning different ways to teach, potty train, sanitize the toys, bathroom and daycare area. Also while working as an assistant I went to training classes for my CPR and health and safety certificates. After my employer relocated out of state I decided to start Learning Made Fun Family Daycare a home based daycare out of my home in which I provide care for children ages 8 weeks to school age. My passion is to nurture, teach, listen while building a solid educational foundation and making the experience enjoyable and fun working on all social growth and developmental skills, motor skills, etc.. I provide nutritious meals and snacks, curricular activities due to the ages of children. I enjoy Music and movement, Daily circle time, Potty train, Play time, outdoor play if weather permitting.
