Children give me joy and in turn, I can share the love & joy that I have with them. In the past, I worked with a wonderful family, from 2002 to 2006, on a part-time basis while I went to school to become a counselor.
This family lives in Warren County. When I started with this family, they had an infant boy. 1-1/2 yrs later, a baby girl was born. and 2 yrs later another baby girl was born. I left their home when the 3rd child was 4 months old. Mom decided to stay home with her children and I proceeded to do my internship at an in-patient facility, in Boonton, NJ for drug/alcoholic patients. When I left that facility, I continued my internship at an out-patient facility in Bayonne, NJ, where I then became a certified counselor. I have recently decided to go back to taking care of children. My feeling is, I have more to offer taking care of children.
