My name is Francine and I am 23 years old and currently a full-time student at DePaul University. I am a double major in Political Science, Pre-Law and Public Relations and Advertising. I have a part time job at Adler-Weiner Research Co. located at the John Hancock Center in downtown Chicago and looking for a few days to babysit. I have been a caregiver for about 8 years, since high school. I work well with both girls and boys. Considering that I have a sister and brother, I have learned a lot about their personalities and apply them to relationships with family, friends, teammates, and those I take care of. I coached for Extreme All Starzz Academy a cheerleading gym and have coached high school as well. I coached both girls and boys at different skill levels, and also coached the special needs team. Moreover, I was also a part of the Northern Illinois University cheerleading team for 2 years, and was very active with the community, city of DeKalb, and the University. I was able to gain a lot from my experience as a coach, and college cheerleader, and have a passion for working others. I love doing activities and playing sports with children. I enjoy taking care of kids from ages 1 (and few months old) -15. I have a dog myself, a 4-year-old dachshund, and absolutely love pets! I volunteer for the Avon Breast Cancer Walk, and church events as well. I speak English fluently, and a little bit of Spanish and Tagalog (Filipino).
When I do babysit, I believe that the children come first, I am there to take care of them and protect them from anything that could possibly happen and never neglect to acknowledge their safety as first. I believe in a healthy and happy lifestyle, and would encourage that upon all children. As an athlete, I believe that eating healthy and having an optimistic outlook is essential to an every day lifestyle. Staying active is always a plus, and I have learned it is extremely beneficial when babysitting, considering the energy children have! I love to play board games, although I do not prefer to play video games or watch television, since there are a vast amount of other things we can do. I enjoy taking walks with dogs, going to museums, parks, and playing sports. Furthermore, I enjoy school and love reading, so taking the time to read children books with those I babysit is always fun. Considering my majors, I have great dedication for learning. I like tutoring and doing school work.
