I watched children of all ages in the nursery at our church. I babysat for multiple families within the church as well. My mother was a home-health nurse and took care of local families who had children with handicaps. I learned a lot about handling their extensive needs because I would often babysit for hours at a time and even overnight so the parents could go out on a date or run some errands. A couple years ago I resided with and cared for an old friend who was bed-ridden and later passed away. I did a lot of cooking, cleaning and errand running. Though difficult emotionally at times, I enjoyed every moment with them. I would make a great candidate for your family!
