“ I grew up in a small little town of Oahu living with my mom. This past summer I catered 45 to 300 children that was apart of a summer program. I was positioned as a lifeguard with the city and county of Honolulu. My co-workers and I would take them to do water activities such as kayaking, canoe sailing and canoeing. We would also have to entertain the children by singing songs to them and act out little skits....

I grew up in a small little town of Oahu living with my mom. This past summer I catered 45 to 300 children that was apart of a summer program. I was positioned as a lifeguard with the city and county of Honolulu. My co-workers and I would take them to do water activities such as kayaking, canoe sailing and canoeing. We would also have to entertain the children by singing songs to them and act out little skits. As of right now I work with children. I am only a cashier but sometimes I help out with birthday parties and make sure that the kids are fully entertained and having a great time. Working with children is one of the greatest jobs I could ever have as a college student because it keeps me on my toes and also makes me enjoy the time that I am spending.
