I started teaching when I was 16 years old as a hearing impaired sign language tutor. From there, I have always been involved with children in daycare or Sunday school teacher positions. Recently, I worked for a preschool that had an inclusive classroom for 2-year-old children and I had the pleasure of working with autistic and developmentally delayed children. I love working with children ages newborn to 6 years. I am that mom that all the other moms and friends wonder why I'm hanging out with their kids at a party. I'm the mom on the block who owns a moon bounce and a bubble house. Why am I passionate about caring for kids? It's just natural. They are the most interesting people I know, just ask my 4-year-old! I am also currently finishing my degree in early childhood education with to become a developmental therapist and am certified in CPR/First Aid. I currently work as a sitter/nanny in Oak Park and the surrounding suburbs.
