I am a senior at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln studying elementary education. I have had experience teaching children in a kindergarten classroom, a first grade classroom, and a third grade classroom. In these classrooms I was responsible for creating lesson plans, teaching lessons, and monitoring student behavior. I am a previous Girl Scout troop leader. I have had experience leading troops with girls ranging from kindergarten to third grade and sixth through eighth grade. As a troop leader I was responsible for guiding the girls through completing goals, managing behavior, and creating fun activities. During this time I was able to supervise girls on field trips to the Omaha zoo, the mall, and The Amazing Pizza Machine. I have never had any paid experience as a baby sitter but I am confident that I would be an exceptional baby sitter due to my experience in education and with the Girl Scouts.
